A colony of ants can quickly make their way into your home, seeking nourishment. Once they have found a source, the first ant to discover the food will leave a scent trail for other ants to follow. We at Issaquah Pest & Home Services are educated in ant eradication and have developed the following 3 step approach:
1. ANT INSPECTION
First, we will inspect your home from top to bottom, inside and out. We’ll examine every door, window, and curtain rod as well as your kitchen cabinets. Outside, we will check your foundational walls, as well as areas of mulch and vegetation.
2. INTERIOR ANT TREATMENT
Next, we will put out professional ant baits in areas where ants travel and gather. The ants will eat the bait and carry pieces of it back to their queen. This way, we will be sure to kill off the entire colony and prevent any future infestations. In some cases, the bait may also be accompanied by an interior spray!
3. EXTERIOR ANT TREATMENT
Lastly, we will carefully apply a non-repellent insecticide around the perimeter and entry points of your home. We will also advise on any conditions that may be contributing to ant activity and infestation so that we can work together toward a proper resolution of the problem.
