PROFESSIONAL WASP CONTROL
IN WASHINGTON STATE
Our Wasp Control & Removal Service
In the spring, queen wasps build nests. By fall, these can reach their maximum size and house up to 5000 wasps. If you’re dealing with a stinging insect infestation at home, our expert team at Issaquah Pest & Home Services is here to help! We will safely eradicate hornets and yellow jackets without endangering your family or pets. We can also treat your home to prevent future infestations by removing existing nests and preventing new ones from being built.

Our Unique Approach To Wasp Control & Removal Service
Stinging insects like hornets, yellow jackets, and paper wasps can be difficult to handle on your own. These pests make nests in hard-to-reach areas like the ground and other tricky spots–and because their nests can grow quite large, it’s best to call in a professional like our team at Issaquah Pest & Home Services.
1. WASP NEST INSPECTION
We’ll thoroughly inspect your property, checking for nests in the ground, around bushes, trees, and more. We’ll also check under eaves. Our goal is to locate all nests and identify the wasp species so that we can free your life of these stinging insects for good.
2. PAPER WASP TREATMENT
To prevent wasps from releasing their attack pheromones, we will spray a knockdown aerosol into their nests. After most of the wasps are dead or dormant, we will then treat the nest with a residual spray so that if any activity picks up again, they will quickly die off.
3. YELLOW JACKET TREATMENT
Yellowjackets typically build their nests inside enclosed structures to keep them protected. They’ll often nest in crawlspace vents, retaining walls and abandoned rodent burrow holes. Since we can’t access the nest directly, we will treat the entrance with a liquid pesticide that they’ll bring into the nest with them–eradicating from the inside.

Frequently Asked Questions About Wasps
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RATS AND MICE?
Our treatments usually take up to 72 hours to take full effect. This can be frustrating, so we will provide some post-treatment instructions that can help speed the process along. Give us a call with any additional questions you may have!
HOW DID I GET WASPS?
The presence of wasps around your home can be a real pain. There’s not much you can do to prevent them from setting up camp, but we cover them on our quarterly service so that if something does pop up, we can come out and take care of it for you.
DO YOU OFFER ANY GUARANTEES FOR WASP CONTROL SERVICES?
Yes! We have two options for you. Our first option is our Guaranteed plan, which not only covers your current wasp issue but any future ones. Our second option is a free follow-up within 45 days of the initial treatment.
CAN I TREAT WASP NESTS MYSELF?
Yes, but we don’t recommend it. Paper wasps, yellow jackets and hornets are known to sting! They also typically set up their nests in hard-to-reach areas. If you do decide to attempt to treat on your own, follow standard ladder safety protocols and wear a bee suit sealed at the wrists, ankles and collar.
CAN WASPS STING MORE THAN ONCE?<br />
Yes! Unlike honey bees paper wasps, yellowjackets, and hornets can all sting more than once. Ouch!
